Product junkie-ism: Aussie and Herbal Essences products on sale at Shoppers!

Don't they look like they belong together! So happy together!
Don't they look like they belong together! So happy together!

After my chiropractor appointment last night, I dropped by Shoppers Drug Mart and guess what?

Aussie and Herbal Essences products were on sale (as well as a new brand Baléa, which I don’t know anything about) — two for $5! Whoo hoo!! I didn’t go crazy — although I could have, but seeing I have a couple of weeks before I get my hair braided it didn’t seem to make much sense. I did pick up two things: Aussie Moist conditioner and Herbal Essences Body Envy Weightless Volumizing Gel. I have heard a lot about Aussie Moist and I’m hoping that it does what it says it will do — make my parched hairs moist and happy. I don’t know anything about the Body Envy gel — this one is going to be a trial and error, folks. Expect pictures.

Also on sale:

  • Yes to Carrots shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioning mask are also on sale – 15% off. I’m allergic to nuts, I’m staying away from their products, which have sweet almond oil and macadamia nut oil. Although that’s the case for me, for my naturalistas and permed girls who aren’t allergic to nuts, it’s a pretty good product at a good price (between $9.99 and $11.99).
  • Alberto Vo5 hot oil and hot protein moisturizing intensive creme treatments are also on sale for $3.

For all of you who want to check out some products, but don’t want to spend a lot of money on your product junkie-ism, drop by Shoppers and take a look. Unfortunately, I forgot to check when the sale ends (I think it ends on Saturday) — so don’t wait too long before you check it out.

  1. I am really impressed with your writing skills as well as
with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you modify
it yourself? Anyway keep up the excellent quality writing, it is rare to see a nice blog like this one today.
